SoftExpert, a market leader in software for enterprise wide business excellence in performance and compliance, with over 2000 customers and over 300,000 users, is expanding operations and seeking an Experienced Internal Sales & Business Development professional to support our expansion in US and Canadian markets. This position will work closely with SoftExpert’s CEO and other key team members.

Job Duties

The Inside Sales person will play a fundamental role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This person must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

 

Main Activities

  • Adherence of SoftExpert’s business development process
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Identify client needs, pain points and key players
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Working with sales and pre-sales team when closing sale
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
  • Maintaining database (CRM and SE Suite) of prospective client information
  • Closing sales and working with client through closing process

 

Skills and Experience

  • General understanding of enterprise problems and SoftExpert solutions (internal training offered)
  • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including web search engines, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred.
